    Hi
Can anyone tell me how to fast forward / rewind through certain videos?

Some videos - .mpg, .asf, etc - will not allow me to skip forward or backward.

WiMP immediatly returns the slider to the current position, while winamp usually crashes out the video (sound keeps playing).

    Is there a better client?
Is there a away to edit something within the files (a "no skip" flag of somesort?)

    Many thanks
    Daniel

Well with ASF/WMV Files they have to be created as Seekable, without it you Just can"t scan through the File...With AVI files you can only Jump to the Closest KeyFrame so if there is One One KeyFrame every 300 Frames you will Only be able to jump in 10 second Intervals or if there is No KeyFrames then it will Not be seekable at all, and with Mpeg files they should all be seekable to some degree But a proper Mpeg File Player is good to use Like a Software DVD Player.......
