Does this mean we'll lose all the Sky channels? What are we supposed to buy instead? A £22 million dish? These media people are insane

    Hi Guys
I think this lady is being very mischeavous and zappp I would ignore the her ramblings because everone that uses this site on a regular basis knows that you do nothing but help people not hinder them.Anyway if this lady paid £200 for this box she has more money than sense.Stop beating yourself up about it it and carry on helping people on this site, most of us would be f**ked without it.

    Kind Regards

    Chaggy.

I'm not 100% sure what she was trying to say, but I think it might be to do with Virgin Media taking over from Telewest. Hopefully this change won't cause any problems for dbox users!

It will. If the channels are no longer broadcast, no box can receive them.

I've just read that sky and virgin have been having trouble agreeing on a price to show certain channels...as long as it doesn't affect sky sports i'm not too bothered.

No, the premium channels are not affected. Potentially affected channels include sky 1, 2 & 3 as well as sky sports news, maybe a handful of others..
