I have an old sky digital box, and still have dish, although no longer connected. Am now on N*L and using starview.
But was just wondering if anybody can tell me if i can use old box to receive anything.
Could i download any updates to make old box useful? Have a RS232 cable if needed.
Guess i am just a hoarder and hate to throw the old box out
if i can get any use out of it.
Dont mind if i only get a few channels, can stick it in the spare room or something.
    Any ideas welcome.

You could watch the none scrambled channels like BBC, ITV and so on. If your old card is not too old you can get additionally the FTV channels like channel4 and so on.
