slingbox.zip file a slingbox.bin?

Hi,
I have a coolsat 5000 and am a member at DSSRookie FTA board.
I just received a notice to log on and download my slingbox.bin file.
I guess it loads like the Nor 143 bin, but for what? What does it provide? Do I beed it? My receiver is getting most channels excrpt a PPV and a few others. I hope I get the fight at ch.472 5-05-07 Sat.. De LaHOYA and MATWEATHER at 5:30 pm Pacific time?

Anyway what is the new SLINGBOX, BIN?? WHaT does it do or is it Necessary?
