    Hey all,
Curious, on my laptop it takes 13 1/2 minutes to burn a dvd at 4x. My pc it takes over an hour? Why does it take so long? I have ti set up exactly the way it is on my laptop but still the long burn.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Can you post your system specifications (i.e. memory, hard drive capacity, operating system, dvd burner drive model and number) for your desktop pc. Also try this link here http://www.burstcopy.com/dma/xp/ to make sure you have dma mode enabled on your drives. Also you might want to check you have the latest firmware for your drive which can be found http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php. Just type in your model number for your burner and do a search for it.
