I burned my VCD using NERO. Everything worked out right, it burned smoothly. But when i played the DVD, the playback was really slow. Like 6 fps or sumthing.
Ive tried, burning at 48X and 4X.
Ive also tried, Track at Once, and Disc at Once. But no luck with any of them, ive wasted like 5 cds already.
I also had this problem with another movie. I do have some success stories, but even in there the last couple of mins were slow as crazyness.

Thanks for ur cooperation._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Hail to the Redskins![/small]

I am thinking bout that but tmpengc is v. slow.
And Nero isnt giving me any errors.
So, should i still use tmpgenc.

i would not use nero to encode your vcd. use some other program becuase nero tends to screw some things up every once and a while. I have had the same problem

Guys, Nero is great burning sofware, but shite for VCD encoding. TMPGEnc is slow, but does a pretty good job of VCDs, I agree with Gush and Turk.

What's the rush, when you demand quality ;-)

Well if you used Nero to encode it then no-one is surprised. Nero wasn't built as an encoder and because of that it does a pretty bad job. You should get TMPGEnc for VCD!

dela, what if i dont need to encode it. it adds the file without giving me the error. And im still getting the problem.
IN other words, what if i dont get The Turn Off Standard Compliance etc. error. It just adds it into the thingy.

Then it would already have been encoded and is ready to be burned easily! However, god knows what was used to encode thge file in the first place then!

Well I dont know if it would make much of a difference so its up to you. I wouldn't because there is a chance the same thing will happen and you will have wasted hours on the encoding!

Well, is there anything i can do. SO, i can watch the 2nd CD of like 5 movies on my DVD.
I downloaded around 5 diff movies, all have 2 parts. And guess what, in all of them the 2nd cd doesnt work. Actually, the first movie i downloaded works fine(both cd's), but the video is slower than the sound. So, the guy speaks, and then two sec later his lips move. But the other 4, the 2nd cd is like pathetic.

Thanks a lot, im sure with ur expertee well find a solution.
