slow ripping

    hi all my old built in cd drive was broken so had to get it replaced in my laptop.the old one used to rip cds in no time and the new one takes forever to copy .any ideas why?or how can i sort it out???

    followed the link and copied what it said.now nothing happens when i put in cd.thanks a mill ,slow ripping was better than no ripping :(

    thanks attar worked like a dream.took me a few trys though.ripping at normal speed now ;)
