How can you tell if the box is a clone or not?

 

True To see if you have a clone or not click the SV EV Info link at the end of my post. Thats me fingers are tired off to bed, goodnight.

as far as i am aware they are working on the problem so just a matter or the waiting game now

 

hi i have the h20070607_400ee on my starview 1 does this mean this patch will not work on my box thanks sorry being bit of an idiot

Hi I am quite new on here so you will have bare with me, I have been trying to do all that stuff scouser said about sly sports 1 and I think I have damaged my star view box which is an original and not a clone, all is on now is a small green light on the front can anybody please help.

Many thanks for your swift response scouser, but I have the same problem, there is 1 single green line on the front of the box, I have done everything you have suggested, it just seems to have frozen.

Connect the box to the pc with your cable but switch it off at the back. Load the correct
firmware bin file into GTRom & set it to the correct com port, and select App file only then hit Download.
Only then switch on at the back to power on the box. It may take a few sec. so wait at least 30 sec.
(If it doesn't work 1st time try also waiting a couple of sec. to switch on after pressing download in the loader.) It may take more than 1 try to work, but eventually you'll see the loader kick in and the % bar increase. You won't see the % on the Starview though. Only green lines moving left to right. Towards the end of the flash you'll see a message in GTRom saying FLASH BURNING. Then it will reach 100% and wait for the download complete pop up box to appear & the box will reboot back to factory setup. You will have lost any channel data previously on the box & will need to rescan & switch on EMU and set the box up from scratch.

 

hi lads ive used that gtrom loader to upgrade my box to a v4.00 now im getting scrambled and bad channels on sky sport channels any idea?
