    they may not feed off each other but there is no way it i could be cost effective for the studio's to pay the drm coders every week to change the protection.

    AnyDVD (HD) 6.5.7.9 beta
    Safe for every REGISTERED user to try:

    6.5.7.9 2009 09 05
    - New: When waking up from standby or hibernate, the discs in the drives
    are no longer re-scanned, drives containing a CSS protected disc are
    re-authenticated
    - New (Blu-ray): Added support for new BD+ protections
    - New (DVD): Workaround for bug in some drive firmware, e.g. Lite-On
    IHOS104 BD-Rom drive, CSS decryption didn't work
    - Fix (Blu-ray & HD DVD): Downloaded decryption keys were lost
    after AnyDVD restart
    - Some minor fixes and improvements
    - Updated languages

    Yeah. I'll wait with Blivet on the upgrade. I never do betas. Besides the movies suck worse than ever. What has Jason Statham done with his career? I just saw Crank2-High Voltage-Short Circuit-Blown Job transformer-Power Outage!.

    The link Joleca gives is working just downloaded newest beta- will now delete it and wait for something substantial. They must be having trouble with something with all the beta upgrades in last few days.

    No just getting all of the bugs and hickups worked out of the Beta version. In this case, patience is a virtue.

    - New (Blu-ray): Dramatic speedup decrypting some BD+ protections
    - New (Blu-ray): Made region dialog more remote control friendly
    - New (DVD): Added support for new copy protection, e.g. "Insanity Workout" and "One on One with Tony Horton" (US)
    - New (DVD): Improved RCE detection & removal
    - Fix (Blu-ray): Region free BD discs could be reported as region "C"
    - Fix: Crash when copying files if AnyDVD language is set to Japanese
    because of an error in the Japanese language file
