So what can i do if my phone is blacklisted?

So what can i do if my nokia 6230 phone is blacklisted?
i love my phone and i want it to work!

take it to a shop and get it unlocked via a cable solution, this will only work on any network it hasnt been barred from

so if you were on o2, it now wont work on o2 again

 

damn and theres nothing i can do to get it to work on o2 again?

 

change the IMEI number, but this is very illegal and i dont know of anyone that does it and i dont recommend it at all

at least your phone isnt bust, you can still use it, just not on o2

 

what does blacklisted mean is it because the fone is reported stolen?

 

yeah blacklisted occurs usually as a result of being stolen or bills not being paid

the phone will not recieve a signal, therefore not allowing calls or texts etc
