Oh dear, it finished 1 a piece lol. You still go top on Goal difference, but i dont think you will beat Arsenal. I hope for a draw, but a secod preference (ugh) would be Arsenal to beat Chelsea :D

Right - who is taking it upon themselves to make sure i am up by 12.00 to watch the match tomorrow (Man Utd vs Leeds). I cant wait. Chelsea are about to have their biggest test this season. Arsenal will atleast get a draw i feel.

I pay my £35 a month for various sports package and i still cant see my fusking football team, and instead there is a shitty 1st Division match on. I can say one thinkg - fusk You Sky. Im emailing them now with my disguist, then im ringing them up and giving them grief about. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well, United won today and when top of the league briefly until Arsnal beat Chelsea 2-1. Ha Ha Ha to the Chelsea fans lol. As i said, id rather see Arsenal winning than Chelsea because although i hate Arsenal, I really hate Chelsea. My granny was also the most devoted Arsenal fan ever until she died. You daren't say a bad word against them in her presence or you would be in her bad books for a long time. She was disabled yet evey Saturday she managed to move and shout about Arsenal. LOL

United won 1-0 a game that should have seen us winning by atleast 3-0. Ronaldo should have gotten a penalty in the first 6 mins, but it wasnt given. Keane scored a header and then Scholes hit the bar with one that should have been easy. Im still happy though. It goes to show you that Arsenal and Man utd are still the two teams to beat. Chelsea...who are Chelsea??

Liverpool yet again lose a game to Portsmouth (a game they were sure to win in their opinions), 3 in a row and their 4th in the first 9 of the season. As i say every week, get rid of that twat Houllier, he isnt a good manager for the premiership. His style would be more suited to the french league. How long do you think players like Owen and Gerrard are going to stay in a team that finish middle of the league and dont qualify for the Champions League. They may not even get into Europe either on their current form.

Manchester City had a good 6-2 win over Charlton today with some cracker goals. Also, Wolves move off the bottom of the table for the first time this season. Go on Incy and Irwin LOL :D

Celtic won today also, winning 5-0 at Hearts._X_X_X_X_X_[small]For DVD Back up info: http://www.chrismccann.co.uk

Real Betis only managed a draw in the Seville derby, but they did come from a goal behind to score two cracker goals within 2 mins 30 secs. Quality play for Denilson to yet again show why he was the worlds most expensive midfileder when he was bought. Its great, two of my teams, Man Utd and Real betis, both have worlds most expensive midfielders playing for them. Keane and Denilson. And River plate won as well. A prett happy result this weekend in the football as far as im concerned. River Plate had some great players that are now in spain. As long as D'Allesandro stays with us we'll be ok.

Im just thinking, i talk to myself quite often in this forum of late. Ah well, i enjoy it. Anyway, its after 4.30am and i have to beup at 8.00am. Off to beddie byes :-D

Well, we pull through and dont concede a goal in the Rangers match. A 1-0 victory for Man Utd and we're all ready to slaughter Rangers at Old Trafford next game. I was a bit disappointed not scoring more goals. We couldve easily have scored 3 and we shouldve had a penalty in the last minute. There was no doubt it was a penalty, how could it not have been??? Referee madew a big mistake with that one, though he generally did ok during the match. I was very disappointed with some of our defending and for all of Ryan Giggs's great movement and skill, he did give away the ball an awful lot. Again, an excellent performance from Roy Keane - Man of the match in my opinion. Well done Phil Neville, scoring a truly wonderful goal. What patience and experience he showed taking that goal. He waited and waited and struck at the perfect time.

Ah well, 1-0 will have to do.... :D

Chelsea managed to pull back a win after being 1-0 down at half time.

Here, what about that first Chelsea goal. WOW! What a screamer. I havent seen a shot hit like that on the volley since....um...well....since Zidane did that amazing one. Even though the ball was bouncing along the ground as he hit, i still call those volleys since it was his first touch and the ball was travelling at speed. Chelsea back on top.

    Poor Arsenal are screwed lol.

Yeah, Man Utd did well enough i suppose. I was a bit disappointed with the slack defending at times. We reall should have had 3 goals in the first half also. that would have killed the game ;-D The return leg to Old Trafford should be very good. I honestly feel that United may hammer them there or atleast beat them by 2 or 3 goals.

Yeah that was a nice goal, did you see his cross bar in the first half he hit it with his left foot smashed cross bar, so unlucky frank is getting better and better and them kind of goals which is good to see ;-)

Very true. Lampard has consistently showed us how good a player he is. Even with people like Crespo and Moto coming to the club, it is clear that there is only one person on the team that is guaranteed a starting position and that is Frank Lampard.

Oh My God, fusk me like a french Maid! WTF was that today at Old Trafford? Im so pissed off at that. Its not the defeat thats got me pissed off, but the sound of very sloppy defending again. I've been thinking that we have been defending very poorly ever since that defeat in the Champions League. Im very pissed off with the play of the team. You know what it is. People wonder why United fans regard Roy Keane so highly compared to other players. Well, do you think he would've let that kind of sloppy play go on without giving the players a real bollocking. United could not keep the ball at all when they broke.

    PATHETIC is what i think!!!!!!!!!!

John O'Shea??? What the fusk are you playing at son? Ronaldo sounds like he had a shite game too. As did Ryan Giggs and a few others. I'll watch it on Sunday night and come back and rant & rave about it.

Ronaldo's starting to look like a one hit wonder. Hasn't even scored yet. Ferguson that's what you get for selling one of your best players and replacing him with an inexperienced kid.

Funny how Beckham couldn't find the net at Man Utd but now he is smacking them in left, right and centre at Real Madrid. The service at Real Madrid must be better.

Man Utd have lost a lot of experience in midfield and it is starting to show, still fancy them to win the league though closely followed by Chelsea, that's right Chelsea. I don't rate Arsenal at all anymore, especially with shit-for-brains in goal.

I have to say i disagree with everything you have said there, bar beckham scoring in madrid.

Firstly, I think that UNited had a terrible first half performance, theres no doubt about that. It really was uncharacteristic of them. But that happens sometimes. We have to remember that Roy Keane was left out (sitting beside Peter Kay in the stadium) and that Phil Neville, who is in amazing form, was also left out. Paul Scholles came on eventually, but had he started from the start it would have been a different performance. Basically, it was a UNited reserve midfield that was playing. We have a lot of experienced players in midfield, but with Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Phil neville and Ole Gunner Solskjaer being the more experienced, along with Ryan Giggs (who is a striker sometimes), yet only Scholes came on to play (apart from giggsy again). He was a depleated side with a depleated first half performance.

However, that all changed when the second half started. We were by far the better side for the most part of the game. Ronaldo played very well most of the time, had good skill and made decent crosses. Diego Forlan, though scored the first goal, squandered a lot of chances. Even though we out played Fulham for a large part of the second half, we always ended up doing something wrong, the final pass being short or long, and not scoring a goal. It was disappointing, but it isnt something i will worry about, because it is unlikely to be a terminal problem at Old Trafford. I do think one think, however. We really need another out and out striker at United. Solskjaer, when he comes back, will get goals for us (best NATURAL goal scorer in Europe) but we rely to heavily on Van Nistelrooy, and he does deliver, but we need someone who is more level headed and capable than Diego Forlan. His one of magic moments aren't suited to Man Utd, in my opinion.

Lastly, i thought Arsenal were only Average today. i still think they are the team to beat, not Chelsea or anyone else. The reason i think this? Did you watch the last 15 minutes of the second half? Did you see Thiery Henry's left footed shot that hit the post and then his spectacular goal. For those 15mins, the way Arsenal played, could have out-classed every other team in Europe, bar maybe United and Madrid who would normally be on par with that. It truley was an amazing 15mins of football to watch. Arsenal proved in that 15mins why they are one of the top 2 teams in England every year. Outstanding!

United and Arsenal are both through the Carling Cup. United went through i extra time, could have scored about 5 goals in that match, and Arsenal went through an amazing run of 11 penalties before going through. Well done Rotheram. Bear in mind that Arsenal and United both played reserve teams with a lot of Youth players in it.
