Sad to see Veron go!!! Really am, he really started to get his act togther since christmas, What a waste of 13 million!

But then again, I guess, United never paid anything for beckham and got 25 million out of him so they can afford to lose 13 million on veron!

I agree its sad to see him go Dela, but i think we did ok over the sale. think of it like this:

We paid £28million and sold him for £15 million. His wage is £4million a year i think, thats £8 million saved over the next two years of his contract. So in essence, he really has gone for £23 million. Paying £5million for a player for two years, wasnt a bad deal as such. That is the way the board of the PLC work it out as said in the interview with Kenyon last night.

He was starting to come into form again, but when you had 16 Midfielders, with a lot of quality, i can see why the decision was made.

Yeah, its not nice to loose to the lesser team. however, we didnt play with many of our big stars. I think Darren Fletcher and Djemba Djemba proved themselves though. I dont think Bellion played that well, nor did Bartez. Also feel Pugh isnt really right for the team at the minute.

All in all, the more important match is on Sunday in the community shield. We are going to destroy arsenal. Also, we will beat them again on the 20th September and we will most certainly destroy Spurs on 20th december, though i wouldnt be surprised to see Robbie keane put a goal in at some point.

    Man Utd 4 - 3 Arsenal

We won, though it went to penalties it was a good victory. The temperature was around the upper 30's so it was difficult for the palyers and this reflected on the pace of the game. A good goal from Silvestre started it off, with Arsenal scoring an equilizer a while later from a free kick. the free kick should have never been given, but it was the referee's decision. ! arsenal player was sent of for kicking Phil neville, another should have been for kicking Fortune. Very good performances by the captain, Roy Keane, Silvestre and of course our new star keeper Tim Howard.

First blood has been drawn in the Arsenal/Utd saga this season. We are going to win them all!!

Its the day before the start of the Premiership season. Man Utd versus Bolton at 3pm. Unfortunately its not being shown on any television channels, but never-the-less, ill be listening intently. I expect a win, even though Bolton have been a problem for us in the past. COme on United.

I hope Tim Howard is starting along with Ronaldo, nistelroy, scholes, kleberson, keane, solskjaer, ferdinand, forutne, silvestre, o'shea

We were beaten 3-1 in our last pre-season friendly, but it was a junior team put out just for some experience and testing. The real games start now......

Have you watched the United match yet? Just finished watching it. It was an average performace by United up until the 60th minute or so, whereupon the young Ronaldo came on and showed his flare. Man, this guy was amazing for an 18 year old, reminded me a bit of when Solskjaer and Owne started for their respective teams. He moves so fast and is match with his amazing ball control. He also can cross teh ball with amazing accuracy and skill. David Beckham?? Who is David Beckham?? lol. I think he will be here to paly a great part in the future of Man Utd, though i hope he isnt made to paly to soon. The Portugal side has called him up on Wednesday.

Also, Djemba Djemba looked like he had been in the squad for years whenever he came on. He is another future potential hero of Uniteds. I think he is being drafted in as a future midfield controller in replacing the legendary Roy Keane in a few years (i hope to God no time soon - we love you Roy).
