Hey there i love this place always get my answers here so yea hoping that ill get a answer to this aswell, I bought a new xbox yesterday cuz my previous one got stuffed so yea i bought it yesterday so its pretty damm new and the version must be on of the new ones like 1.6b or 1.6c if theres a "c" or might be a 1.6 the build date week style is this week 21/2005 so yeah i just wanted to know if i will be able to use http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/218506 that method to softmod my xbox thanks
I bought another Xbox back in January and the Splinter Cell method worked fine. I'm not sure if there is any difference, but if you get the hacksave running I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. BTW, if you get it running, the screen is supposed to look all blurry once the save is loaded. It will be installing the softmod and the light on the front of the Xbox will turn orange and stop blinking when it is finished.
