[bold]@EVERYONE INTERESTED! - I spoke with a customer service rep at The Modspecialists yesterday, and they have told me that their softmod packages/upgrades are COMPLETELY Xbox Live compatible! This is great, for all of you who want a modded Xbox to play your burned games and movie files, etc. but don't want to be banned from XBL. The link is www.modspecialists.50megs.com

You can also email them directly at themodspecialists@comcast.net

    Check it out![bold]

I didn't feel like this needed a private message, but jon, this guy I was talking to last night has a bit of a problem with the softmod.

He can't install either UDE, and he has an XBOX that goes off the charts, probably a 1.6+. I don't know how to tell, and he's stuck.

I saw that you had a 1.6 jon, and I was just wondering if you could offer him any advice. His kernel is like 5898 or close.

@organika - just look properly man, all 3 gamesaves are there...and from your previous posts, it appears you have already found the Splinter Cell save --->
@Slith - Any Xbox with a manufacture date of around the middle of February, 2004 or later is a 1.6 Xbox. Tell him to check the label on the bottom of the Xbox. If it's before mid-february, then he has a 1.5 or earlier, so install UDE1. If it's a 1.6 then install UDE2. This shit is so simple, all he has to do is FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS...

@allinares - You do not put Xbox programs on there through a memory card, you do this via FTP. I have already made a tutorial on how to do this, and it is on page 6....

@pinkgnu - Go into settings and find the IP area, and where it says "Static IP" click it and change it to DHCP!

Everyone PLEASE try and browse through the thread first, if you have a question, I [bold]GUARANTEE[/bold] you it's been answered, MULTIPLE times at that....

    @ jon

He can't install either UDE. He needed me to walk him through it :p

    @ organika

Download and install WinAce. Then PM me for more details. Anyone who wants to use Splinter Cell to mod their XBOX, PM me on how to change the RAR archive to the ZIP archive.
