Hello I'm new to this computer stuff and could do with some help. I have a pretty old Dell laptop running xp and all I want to do is burn a few DvD"s im using Nero but it takes for ever to burn is there a better program then Nero? Please help many thanks

I realize that I'm coming late to this post, but then others might read it. Your burning speed is probably more a hardware issue than it is a software issue. If you're using an old XP laptop then you probably have by today's standards a slow CPU, and limited system RAM. Your hard disk is an EIDE (ATA) also quite slow, and you have a legacy DVD burner. That being said, I use Imgburn which like all burners runs faster on a fast PC, and you can download from here for free. I used to use Nero back in the day, but that was then and this is now.
