I do enjoy watching football (American football, that is), but my beloved Raiders game wasn't aired, and they lost. I'm just glad I'm not a hockey fan living in Canada right now...LOL
Yep, they're on strike. A multi-million dollar hockey areana was just finished west of me here in Phoenix and guess what? It's empty and hasn't been used yet because of the strike. I'm pissed about it anyway because I used to be able to get cheap tickets to go see the Coyotes play only sport I like and now it's $50 for a halfway decent seat. Hockey's going the way of all the other sports - the working man gets f*cked out going because he can't afford it.
Gotta agree with John179, You can't beat a good ole game of football on sunday morning and coming home to a ford super sunday, even better when Man Utd are shown. FOOTBALL!!
