i am using my flash drive for a long time and its been working great but suddenly yesterday when i plugged it in there comes a message "{drive not formatted ,you need to format it } but when i try to format it , it says { cannot format },,,now if any one could heelp me ...i would thankful..
Fash drives don't last forever. Try it in another computer, and if you get the same message, get a new flash drive. They have come down in price, a ton, in the past year.
Unplug/replug it several times, sometimes drives that are dodgy occasionally show up, but you should replace it ASAP.
