I am having a problem connecting my DCR-HC30 Sony camera to my computer, via firewire (i.link) I purchased a new wire just in case, but it still does not work. I have uninstalled my firewire adapters, but still nothing. When I plug the camera in, “dv in” flashes on the camera. Help
I have the same problem with my sony as well. I have tried different cables and ensured that "DV Out" is enabled in the camera menu options, but all I ever get is "DV In" on the camera display, and my computer won't recognize it. Again, I've tried different cables as well as different computers to no avail. If anyone has any solutions to this, I (and I'm sure the original poster) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
