Sony cd-r media with sony burner

    Do you guys think using a sony cd-r media with a sony burner will decrease the chances of writting errors?

    I don't trust sony anymore. I used to burn on sony cd-r about 2 years ago and I have now some problems with audio cd I've done (the paint on the top of the cd is going out).

    My TDK burner burned coasters on TDK discs. So the brands don't quarantee any compliance. Some drive manufacturers post a list of certified media - check Plextors site for an example.

    A brand of media isn't always necessarily made by one manufacturer.

    TDK has gone through many manufacturers such as TDK, CMC, Taiyo Yuden(?), Ritek(?)....

    (?)=not 100% sure.
