I was at walgreens yesterday, and i saw something interesting... Some Sony CDRs that were made in mexico, a 50 pack spindle. i bought them because the rest of the packs said made in taiwan, and ive never heard of reputable media being made in mexico. i havent opened them yet, anyone know anything about them before i dive in and open them up for curiositys sake to find the manufacturer?

Edit: opened the pack, and they are plain Sony Manufactured Discs... anyone else seen these before?

As a rule, I stay away from anything that is made in Mexico. A co-worker Samsung high def TV crapped out one month past the mfg warranty and it was made in .... Mexico :(
