SONY DVP-NS305 firmware update - help needed

    Hello friends,

    I have Sony DVP-NS305 stand -alone DVD-player. My problem is, it won't play SVCD.
    I believe it must be a firmware issue.
    My player firmware is EC1 - 1.601.

    How can I update to the next firmware
    EC1 - 1.801.
    I believe with that firmware it will play
    SVCD as well.
