    Can someone please help me unlock my Sony Ericsson J105a?

    Hi, I'm also looking to get my J105 unlocked, but I'm not very impressed with the quotes I've received from various paid unlocking sites (from links found on this forum) $55-$78 seems like too much to pay when the phone itself costs $150! Generating an unlock code shouldn't really cost more than $10-$20. Wondering if anyone could direct me to a site with more reasonable rates or a guide that shows how to do it yourself. Thanks!

    Cough.Cough.. Did you click on the link i posted above to see if your fone is there!!(ALL FREE LINKS)
    Also if you do have to go to a link where you pay maybe $20 would be max you should pay if fone is a rare unlock!

    Yes I tried those links. The minimum price offered through those sites for this particular phone was US $49.

    I was able to unlock my motorola v3 phone using a software tool I downloaded from a modding site and was hoping someone here would have something similar for Sony.


    [edit] Found a site through google searching that offered unlock code for US $5.99 - Seems much more reasonable for the 5 minutes it probably takes to calculate the code. Will report back on how it goes. [/edit]
