Finalizing a disc - preparing a disc for playback on other equipment

1. Press DVD on your remote to operate the DVD recorder
2. Insert the disc you wish to finalize
3. Press the SYSTEM MENU on your remote while the recorder is in STOP mode. The system menu will appear.
4. Select "Disc Setting" then press ENTER on your remote. The Disc Setting display will appear.
5. Select "Disc Finalize" then press ENTER on your remote. The display asks for confirmation. Do you want to finalize the disc?
6. Select "Finalize" then press ENTER on your remote. The display asks for confirmation again.
7. Select "OK" then press ENTER on your remote. The recorder starts finalizing the disc. Once the finalization process has completed you can then use the OPEN/CLOSE button to remove the DVD from its tray. The disc can now played on all other DVD drives including the one in your computer.
