Hi, recently i've brought the dvd R/W for my system. While I tried to copy files from a cd to my hard drive its displaying like "I/O error" and file cannot be copied....like that. What could be the problem. I am using Nero SmartStart... plz help me
Hi cybervisa What are you trying to rip (copy) to your hard drive? Is the disc copy protected? What's the exact error message? If it's not a copy proection issue try cleaning off the disc.
hello binkie the problem is I couldn't rip files from any of the CD's or DVD's to my hard drive it is saying that Input/Output error... specified files could not be copied.... like that.
Is this an external or internal drive? What's the model # of the Sony? For the dvd's & cd's you are trying to rip to your hard drive - are they originals? copy protected? Just need a bit more info.
