i have just recently brought a graphics card geforce 7600gs. after installing LTHR battle for middle earth2 i discovered that the graphics in the game play were corrupted all other graphics where fine. after search the web posting on many forums and contacting game manufacture i updated all drivers performed many tests to no value. i decided to install Wow just to see if it was just a one game problem, but even just looking at the log in screen i found this problem is deeper. i believe i have found the problem and i need someone to confirm that this is infact the cause and the best way to fix. the write up on my graphics card manufactures web site states that the MB needs to be agp *8 compatiable. i believe my MB is only *1 and *2 compatiable is this the reason for my problem and if so how do i fix??

If your motherboard accepts only 1x/2x agp cards - you can NOT put an 8x card in and have it work properly. 8x is simply beyond its ability. Solution, get a card it will accept. OR, get a new motherboard that accepts what you now have.

How old is your setup? Consider a complete update to a newer, more modern system.
