As of late I've been having a sound problem with my computer. Its not so much that I have no sound but No sound past 20%.... oddly enough when I put the volume at 20% it sounds like its at 100%. I have an Asus motherboard, the model is A7266-VM which has intergrated dolby digital 5.1 audio. And sometimes when playing a game I dont have any sound at all. Anyone know what the problem could be? I've formatted and reinstalled Windows XP, but I've seem to keep running into the same problem. Unfortunately the Asus website wasn't any help.

Ceck your speaker settings in Control Panel.
