I have a "Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE 7.1 OEM" sound card and a set of dell 5.1 speakers. The problem that i have is that sound only comes through 2 speakers. I have tryed using the creative control, when i use the creative sound card tests, sound does come through all the speakers. This obviously rules out the speakers being broken. Cheers for the help in advance.

hey, im assuming your using windows XP or some other version of windows. anyway, try this.
    1. go to control panel
    2. click on "Sound and Audio Devices"
    3. click on the button "Advance" in the speakers sub group. (Should be at the bottom of the Sound and Audio Devices menu
    4. from the options available, choose "5.1 surround speakers"

    hope that fixes your problem

the only thing i can thing of else is that the speakers mite not be plugged into the correct ports of the soundcard.
