Sound getting lower

    I was wondering, I have had my surround sound system for about 2 years now..I may be paranoid but I believe the sound is lower than it used to be. Is this normal??? Is it even possible or is it just me..??

    Better yet, are some DVDs louder than others????

    Well I just popped in LOTR:FOTR and set it at 60 decibels (72 being the lowest and 0 being the highest) and then I put in Braveheart, couldn't hear a thing past 36 Decibels...
