OK, I converted the avi to mpeg... the sound works perfectly. when i use the dvd author to setup the DVD folders, nothing shows up in the audio_ts folder... is this normal or not? I don't want to burn the folders to find out that it dont work. Any way of testing this?

It's normal for the AUDIO_TS folder to be empty.. If you burn the disk it will work. The audio is encoded into the VOB files if I am not mistaken.

The AUDIO_TS folder is for DVD-Audio discs and isn't used at all for DVD-Video. All the video, audio and subtitles are in the VIDEO_TS folder in VOB files.
