i am having problems with the sound of my computer cutting out at seemingly random times (but usally i notice it when running winamp) . sometimes it comes back and other times i need to restart my computer for it to work again. i have onboard sound, and as far as i know there is no problems with it. any suggestions to what the problem may be would be appreciated.

    thanks,

    Pony

Id check your motherboards site to see if there is any
updated drivers that you could download and install
or mabe its just winamp i used to use winamp i had
that problem before, i switched to windows media
player and it never happened again well, check for
updated drivers if that doesnt work try a different
    media player
