I am having problems converting my vob files with sound. I am sure there is a step that I am missing but every time I create my avi file, there isn't any sound. Does anybody know where I can go to read some tutorials or get some help on this?

I'd suggest that you update to dgindex.

You are actually encoding to avi with it? Or just creating a d2v for the video and demuxing the audio? Most people don't use DVD2avi/dgindex for encoding, just for d2v creation.

My advice would be to try AutoGK, FairUse Wizard or AVI.NET.

When you Make an AVI from VOB/Mpeg-2 files with "DVD2AVI" it will Create for you a Seperate audio File and a Video file (If you have it set up Correctly) so after encodeing you have to Mux the audio and Video together into a Single File useing something like "AVI-Mux"....

    Cheers

PS: You will probably Find it easier to use Other Tools Like Celtic_D suggested...
