I need help. I have never had a successful burn. I have been able to rip just fine after updating my DVD firmware (Sony DRU-530A), but never a burn. Sony tells me this drive is an 8x DVD+/-R, and should use both + and - just fine; as of tonight I have tried both, and tried various media (TDK, SONY, store brands, etc) to no avail.

Here's what I'm using, and my log:

Sony Media Center Edition PC (MCE 2004)
    2G RAM, 3G processor

    Device: [1:0:0] Sony DVD RW DRU-530A 2.1C (E:) (ATA)

    SCSIStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 02 19 00 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 137472-137503

    Sense area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 24 00 00 00 00 00
    Interpretation: Invalid Field in CDB
    Interpretation: Spindle Servo Failure

    As always, thanks.
