split avi files in 2 parts

    which prgram can i use to do that??
    ive used virtualdub but the file is always over 40GB

    How in the hell did you manage to get an AVI that's over 40GB?!

    don't know, just happend, can you tell me how i must reset virtualdub?

    IMHO, none of the tools can handle AVIs with that size. Still, how did you create the file? I mean, did you try to rip some movie or...?

    i downloaded a movie from the web and i wanted to split the movie into 2 parts. i set a start and an end in the middle so the movie was devided and i deleted the last frame after the end in the middle and then i just saved the file

    And forgot to change the Video and Audio settings, I assume.
