Splitting a large continious audio file?

    i have a song file i would like to put on cd-r which is 47 minutes and will fit but its continuos and you wouldnt be able to skip through songs you would have to listen to the whole thing. does anyone know how i could section off the songs or make it like a regular cd, any help or ideas?

    Out of my ballbark and your question is more audio related (splitting audio) so I'll move this thread and hopefully someone with more advanced knowledge in the audio department can help you :)

    A large audio file such as yours is easily splitted if you use a Sound Editor Program --

    Download the FREE trial version of Goldwave at:-

    http://www.goldwave.com/

    Load that file in and follow the instructions to copy and paste each segments you want to save.
