when i try to spit a movie into the second part( halfway through to the end) tmpge stops responding everytime it gets to the output to file step. has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
I am having the same problem with tmpgeng I would also like a soloution to the problem the writer has posted
Try other TMPGEnc version, I've had the same problem and switching between versions has normally helped -- MPEG-2 is specially difficult format, it tends to hang the system much more often than MPEG-1. (as TMPGEnc doesn't need any annoying installers, it's easy to have multiple versions available on your system, just create dirs like TMPGEnc_12a, TMPGEnc_2.0, TMPGEnc_2.51, etc).
