I just purchased a RIO 600 w/ 32MB. Information states that it can hold 1 hour of digital quality music or 8 hours of spoken word. How is this possible ? It recognizes mp3 and wma formats from 32kbps - 320kbps. After further reading (online user manual) I can download from audiable.com a list of audio books into my digital player (w/32MB) 8 hours of spoken word. If they can do that,I should be able to do it too. I already have many books on cd, in MP3 format. Can anyone help me with this ? I just don't see how it is possible.

The songs are in some very low bitrate speech-only optimized format?
