as for the problem i had with the goodfellas dvd i made, i gave my brother one of the copies, and it played perfectly no chapter skip or anything else. whenever i have a disc that has problems in my ps2, i let my brother have em, as his dvd player plays anything you put in it. i will probably get one of these, it is a PANASONIC RV32.
I have a back up Goodfellas based on [bold]Carlitob [/bold] 's guide in this thread and it plays perfectly on my Sony DVP-NS305 [is a basic model but quality manufacturer] Sony PS2 was a games machine designed with the capablities of playing [original] DVD movies. Why would they want their machine to play DVD-R/+R [+R not being about when PS2 first came out of course]. Now that DVD-R has become sort of the 'norm' they are releasing a model that plays all -R & +R (more than likely to be more +R friendly as +R format has a fair bit to do with Sony). I spoke to the manager down my local game store & here in the UK when the PS2 v8 reaches here the price will be £280-300 , but it will have the capabilities of playing copied discs [bold]without Modchip [/bold] peace
