Hello, I was wondering if stand alone DVD recorders record DVD+R to DVD+r. I have a DVD Burner on my PC but I have to create images and all that junk, just to reproduce a DVD+R. I want to know if by purchasing a DVD Recorder I can reproduce DVD+R's a lot easier.

    THANKS!

I doubt DVD Recorders can "copy" DVD+Rs (I believe thats your question).

For one thing...if you are talking about purchased movies, they have encryption. Programs like DVD Decrypter & Shrink remove this when they create that image.

There may be stand alone boxes that copy non-encrypted DVDs...not sure.

    Adder.
