On true cable it will on MMDS it wont. True cable is direct cable into your house, MMDS is fed from an aerial on the top of your house. There is a DVB-T version of the Starview coming soon for C***** MMDS.
Thanks for the reply Sc0user. I belive it is true cable.I have my own starview box in Dublin running on NTL ,it is running version 4.7 and works fine .Flashed it back to factory settings about two weeks ago and did a auto scan and has pulled in 140 odd channels .I am looking into the courus box for a friend ,if i by a new starview box is it difficult to set it up for courus ? I work with computers so know my way around ?
Sorry for butting in , but can you check the system info again as I havent heard of v4.7 It might be API ver 4.00 and Boot ver 7.0 ?
Aha another new version we havent seen, lol only joking, I think it was a typo Celt Regarding C***** set up on true cable yes it is easy to setup, especially if you have "The Box", with version 4.5 on it.
It is on the link Eamos library at the bottom of my post, but remember this is only for "the box", (Starview 2) and not an original Starview.

You obliviously dont know what you are talking about as there is no C**** network in Dublin and yes the Starviews do work on the C***** network in the country areas only on cable as i have mine working but for the way you abuse people here will get you know where as i said all the information is freely available on lots of threads it is up to you to look for it you dont want us to spoon feed you as well or maybe set the whole system up for you and by the way the people on here do there best for FREE and do not get anything in return so please do not abuse as for the help you will be left wanting as far as i am concerned bad attitude get you know where maybe you will learn your lesson
