    Can any one help. Had a starview box yesterday (old type not 2) and it all set up fine no problems.
    This morning all I have is a blank tv screen and cannot get any thing to work on the starview box except the on/off button and change the numbers on the display screen.

    Please help

    @justandy
    Seems like a scart lead or cable connection to the tv not in properly if you have nothing at all on screen.

    Hi
    Just a couple of more ideas, you say you get nothing at all on TV monitor. Then try the scart lead in the other outlet from the Starview, If no go then try another TV or Monitor.

    Yes looks like it. As a last resort you could try and tune it to the TV from the RF Socket output in case only the scart outs are dead.

    Thanks, have figured it out. The metal heat element that was glued to the processor came adrift onto the mother board and damaged it. Can use the s video out, but all other out ports have shot it.

    Hi
    Glad you are half sorted, took some finding that one. Just looked in my bit box and found something that will do the job to convert SVHS out back to scart. Arg*s do them. 'Commtel Scart connecting kit' Cat No 534/3999 @£9.99. then use it to input to your TV. You would also need a SVHS to SVHS lead to go between the Commtel plug in the TV and the Starview. Cheaper than a new box.
