....and from what i've read, this could only have come from someone leaking the print from the inside, but as usual the big companies are blaming peer to peer networks / joe public for leaking the film. Oh and it's supposedly funding drugs and terrorism (well that's what they always say) Sigh
I finally got to see Star Wars III the other night, the audience was not as pack and it was a work night.
i will go and see it again when the fuss has died down a bit. You've got a point there, i'll go see it on a work night when all the irritating pre-teens aren't there fidgeting and messing about. Plus i'll hopefully get a seat at the back and will be able to see this time (i was in the front row last time)
I saw SW3 - thought it was briliant - but then i am a fan of them all - was really impressed with the way the whole story came together but they could have done more with the frankenstein sit up !!! I think the Millenium Falcon was in it tho - it wasn't han solo's ship to begin with was it - didn't he steal it???
it was in the movie it was supposed to be before lando got it http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/bts/production/f20050526/
- fair enough if that's what happened, but a) i don't recall anyone before Lando actually owning the falcon, or b) i was sitting in the front row so couldn't enjoy/make out enough of the film to actually see such subtle things. I am gonna watch it again when all the fuss has died down, so that i can sit at back of cinema and see the film this time, and not have to sit next to a room full of irritating & annoying pre-teens !!
I thought it was pretty good, so I've decided to go "acquire" all of the star wars movies. Wasn't really into them but I think I've actually grasped the concept of Star Wars now. Star Wars Espisode III : Revenge Of The Sith - 8/10 -Mike
i just finished watching episode 6 return of the jedi. the ending of that movie was horrible did any one notice on the remastered version that at the end when obi wan and yoda appeared they added in hayden christianson
i know it wasnt quite on topic just thought it was a little odd that they had the old yoda and obi wan and the young anakin
at first I thought it was dumb, but when you think about it, it makes sense. when luke sees him through the force in Jedi, Remember what what obi-won says to luke that anakin skywalker died when he turned to the darkside. so wouldnt that mean he should be "seen" as the young hayden christianson anakin? Anyways the old anakin just ages under vader helmet, but he is more machine than human. I mean the dude only had a head and a torso. To be correct, if Luke sees his dad as the way he saw him when luke saves him, he would be armless, legless mess.
I totally agree with deezp1, Anakin is seen as he was before the he went to the dark side when he was a Jedi.
Though the special effects were good. The movie was all too predictable. They should work on 7 now and introduce a new story line.
clowdy4 There's already talk/rumors of this happening. Another trilogy however it seems George Lucas would help but not direct. I really liked the movie - yes maybe predictable but then again after watching all 5 that's kinda the point - it wraps it all up. Check out these links about the next trilogy: http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1378334,00110003.htm http://www.cinematical.com/2005/05/25/lucas-idea-for-new-star-wars-prequel
it they set it far enough they can reuse the cast except in scenes where obi wan talks from the grave they could just use ewan mcgregor
Actually if you read one of the links they are talking about a whole new cast except for Yoda. They're talking about 80 - 90 years before episode 1. IMHO - If Lucas doesn't direct they should leave well enough alone Edit for spelling
if they do the later episodes they could show chewbacca being killed and luke goin to the darkside. And as a plus the characters are older so the actors would be perfect. but i think that KOTOR would make a pretty good movie.
