Anyone know how to do this... I want to be able to boot straight to DOS, not the dos prompt of windows xp or safe mode.. just regular DOS, I can't find an option for it in F8 command. Has winxp taken over DOS too so that you can't use it without windows looking over your shoulder?
Failing that, can someone tell me how you reboot the computer from the start in dos mode of winxp... i'm just trying to find out some stuff. thanks

Xp does not have Real DOS support. To get into DOS you must have either a boot floppy or a boot CD.

Yeah, I thought as much.. thanks for confirming it for me. I hate it when the OS takes over so much.
