Ok let me explain why first.
My Compaq laptop hard drive screwed up just after warranty (what a surprise) not fully screwed it works sometimes or it screws up while using it. Anyway I got a new hard drive and put the old one in an external hard drive casing (with all files still on it including windows). Let me get to the point, I have a program on the old hard drive that I need to get a code off is there any way starting windows off the external hard drive.
    Thank you
