starview 2 "the box" set up help

    Yes you need to after flashing with 4.54, (I presume its a new box with no previous firmware), and you need to use Gtromloader version 4.03.

    I've downloaded files onto my computer and tried to send to box but still getting flash fail box.Have box on standby showing clock.Is this correct??

    Yes, thats correct, in system info does it say 4.54 as this would indicate that it has at least been flashed with 4.54 and that you have the correct leads.

    Lead seems to be same one.
    I bought adapter on E-Bay.

    Sorry to butt in am looking for channel dump files for "The Box" PVR
    tried to use the starview bin files but they dont like " the box"

    Hi guys,

    I've been using the star view 2 "The Box" for the last few weeks. I was trying to make some configuration changes to the channel list etc. yesterday and ended up doing a factory restore. Stupid idea I now know but I have to try and recover.

    I had to do a rescan of all the channels and when I did this all of them were scrambled.

    Does anyone know of a reason for this? Will I need to re-install the software on the box? Or is there some other way to get over this?

    When I set up the box first it worked without any hassle after I did a scan for channels.

    press menu then press 1570 this will open up a secret menu scroll down to emu turn to on exit out to a paid channel and let it update
