You have no need to put the Logo File on just flash straight up to the 4.55 firmware from the 4.51 it is fine, just make sure that you use the GTRom 4.03 Loader that's all.

 

usb driver is installed everything else as it should be but still says flash update failed

Okay first of all, delete the firmware and Loader GTRom 4.03 that you have on your PC and download another of each from Eamo's FTA Library, I presume it is the 4.55 that you are trying right?

 

yes 455 have done new downloads

 

Now when you downloaded have you saved them to your desktop, the 4.55 Bin file and the GTRom 4.03, and have you extracted the 4.55 Bin.

Okay, sorry about that, got waylayed, now you say that the Adaptor is correctly assigned to a COMM port, is this right?

Okay, take your word for it, now double click the RED arrow GTRom 4.03 and tell me what it says? in the top 2 box's?

Right the first job then is to click the arrow and choose comm 2. do that first.

If you have done that, now click the BIN File tab and a box will open straight to your desktop, where you can then locate the box_h20081204_455eE_api.bin highlight it and prese OPEN, now what does it say in the top 4 box's.
