yes that is because the incorrect data is been sent to it and the box is getting confused the epg is not really meant for the Irish market hence the green and red screen and the rebooting

EPG on an SV is not great on any CC, more to do with mapping thats all.

It seems to be a glitch alright and as said I was a Mod where it was sold but with recent changes even we find it hard to get things fixed of late, but info has a way of getting to the right people ;)

Thats ok. at least i know it will be fixed and i don't need to return it :) it's probably something simple like the epg info or something but it's not simple to fix.

It's probably hard to fix and not many people reported it.

and how long has this been going on for they have had 3 boxes out and they have never fixed the epg on any of them i have done the rounds on a lot of the forums and there is lots of complaints about the epg and they done nothing about it so why this time be any different

why would they not even fix the old starview 1 and the clone starview 1 this had to be done by someone else so as i say dont hold your breath to a fix for the epg problem all they are interested in is the money and as long as you can watch tv that is all that matters other small things like epg is not on there mind

Did I not say the EPG was bad on SVs and only got somewhat improved on the SV3 I was talking about Steo's 7.05 problem and the guy that creats the firmware does have some pride.

BTW you are saying the SV1 EPG is fine???
