Starview 2 Wont go into standby.

    Ok leave it on pal and try changing it on to rgb to see if that sorts it this is all trial and error but if you box is still rebooting i would suggest you send the box back to supplier

    I think everyones box super does it. a few people have said it. it's faulty beta firmware so we just need to wait for a good firmware to be released. the remote stops working for 10 seconds before it reboots and that proves it's a firmware fault. so all i can do is wait.

    Nope they dont any of the ones i have got all work the correct way and dont keep rebooting all the time is it possible you have bought a clone box as they where due out in the end of april

    It doesn't always but sometimes i does and what would a clone look like. its identical to the genuine starview 2 the box and has 25x7 vents.

    both. my da owns a starview 2 running grand and i have a starview 3.

    ok mate i was a bit confused the way to tell a clone look in thru the vents if you see red paint on it inside you have a clone ok

    where would the red be i can't see any

    it will be on the screw heads if you can see them on the board

    no there is no red on them it must be genuine.
