Starview 257eE stopped working

I have changed the keys last night it worked... but this afternoon its gone again....help PLZ>>>>

 

they were changed todat at around 4pm. search this thread and you will find the new ones.

 

Hi all,
I've only used Starview on NT* but am about to move into an apartment where NTL won't be the provider. Has anyone heard of "Sky Conway" (I think they are some 2-bit overly expensive provider to some apartment blocks)and if so has anyone managed to get starview to work with that provider?
If not has anyone any idea how to add another provider to the starview box as I only has NT* at the mo

HI I KNOW THIS IS ABOUT THE STAR LITE THING BUT I HAVE A REPLAY LITE ONE AND ITS SCAMBLEMS ASWELL COULD ANY1 TELL ME HOW TO UN SCAMBLEM IT PLEASE THANK YOU .!!!!

 

1. Menu

2. Installation

3. Parental Lock

4. Red Audio Button for Goto Key Manager

5. Choose the top option and turn OFF the auto update.

6. Press the Blue button to choose the NAGRA option

6. Three left arrows back take you to 'Prov ID 0x5B' which is TW 4 back is 'Prov ID 0X55' is Ntell and 0XC1 is ex C&W etc

7. One down arrow takes you to the 0x00 - i.e. Key 0. Press OK

8. Up pops the HEX Keyboard - just type in the new numbers - it puts the dots in for you. Do this for Key 01 as well.

9. Exit out -should be sorted.

Enter the your cable companys keys that you can find on this site.

I've got all the stations back but its all picture and no sound. Anyone got any remedies?

That's a long way around for a simple operation. Try this

1 press menu key
2 enter 1570
3 press nagravision
4 select provider (R&L key)
5 enter new hash key for 00 press ok be4 doing the 01 key.
Done!

 

BTW steo my request for ex c&w keys was made on the 30th which you acknowledged was when they changed the keys again.
Searching the thread for keys only brought up keys PRIOR to that.

 

hi , im in london and i have a starview box
some of the channels went down about 8 hours after i tried the new keys ie: 00= 4A 56 C3 4E 55 FC CB 14 AND THE 01= E6 E4 B4 02 EB 79 F3 8A
i did all the saving for both but and it immediately showed all the channels ,but.. then within 8 hours it stopped working again now some of the channels either wont work at all or they have sound but there black screen .
emu is turned on
also when i went back to nagravation instead of showing telewest it said ntl it wont seem to save the tw.

 

i think i might have changed the provider id of C&W can nbody tell the actual one and the latest keys for ex C&W

If you have a genuine starview install version 4 firmware it updates the codes automatically.

 

Hi Im working on becoming self sufficient with my decoder. I have Firmware version 4 on the computer. Im just wondering what lead i need to get to connect my starview to the comp?And Staions were scrambled 10 mins ago. The new key's would nice too. Please?

 

you need a null modem cable

ok i got a null modem Cable i have firmware v. 4 on my p.c Ntl have scrambled the stations again this morning.Dublin area.could some 1 pls type up the new key's or else give me instructions as to how i install firmware on my star view
