STARVIEW 3 channel scan help

still nothing tried them all just keeps saying failed??

 

when you go into manual scan in the down freq if you can remember any of your freq ie. 250.000 400.000 ect the quality and level will go green and yellow if it finds anything save you having to scan each time try with those symbol rates and also try 6.875

 

sorry mate after all that it was the connector cable that was the problem its ALL working now perfectly since i swapped cables feel bit of an idiot now but thanks soooo much 4 all the help i know im in good hands with you guys on here!!

 

no worrys thats why we always start off with cables and connections its usualy the problem but not always happy viewing

 

hi flashed box found 173 channels but comming up scramled or bad ch

Yep. Did you let the flash complete?

 

Go to the menu 1570 and turn on emu and press set default key and then exit to a channel and wait for an update.

I had e original starview box and when I entered 1570 in the menu I could always access the hidden menu and turn the EMU key on but I have just bought a STARVIEW 3 and when I try 1570 nothing happens. does anyone have any ideas please? has the code change by any chance?

 

no it's still the same. go to menu/system info and check the api version.

 

see if u get it this way press ok on parental control go down to second pin and put in 1.6.6.8 or 2.0.0.4 or 2.0.0.7 or 0.0.0.0 try them all if u have to see if you can get in then if not id say it came unflashed and you will have to flash it

 

thanks for the messages steo2k8 and tryabit, I am API version 6.00 so probably need to get this updated ?
When I go into parental control I cant see pin 1 & 2 , just change of pin options.

7.05 is the latest and in my signature link. try that and let me know.

 

All boxes come now unflashed as it is against the law to send flashed boxes to Ireland
