Starview 3 HELP (pretty please?)

here is a place i never find,down to gps malfunction lol

 

Should I try different firmware before I bring it to my mates ?

Also, what firmware should I have on for testing in a friends. He doesnt have a pc so I'll have to put it on before I go. 8.0 or 7.02 ?

 

7.09 for ireland.if u are flashing do a factory reset first and u will start off with a clean box.

 

UPDATE:

So I had planned to bring my SV3 to my friends house to see if it worked there but thought Id try it upstairs first. I brought it upstairs and plugged it in and it immediately started updating. Now all the channels work! but theres still one small problem. Sky movies premier, sky movies premier +1 & Setanta sports arent tuned in...any ideas how to fix this ?

Its really weird...the starview 3 works upstairs but not downstairs. The starview 2 works downstairs but not upstairs. There are no splitters on either line.

 

u can try deleting non working channels and scanning again,did u previously do a factory reset and autoscan with this box yes well maybe a cc fault due to upgrading

 

Well Sky premier, Sky premier +1 & Setanta arent even showing up on the SV3 so I cant delete them.

With the SV2 I'll try deleting the movie channels and rescanning, cheers.
